This one is an absolute dandy cookie recipe!!

They are easy and yummy too!

SUPER EASY CHOCOLATE MINT COOKIES

1 Devils Food Cake Mix

2 Eggs

1/2 cup vegetable oil

Approx. 2 Boxes of Andes Mint candies

Mix the first 3 ingredients together and drop in spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet. (For best results line cookie sheet with Reynolds “release”foil.

Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. It’s really important that you don’t over cook them.

Remove from oven and place an unwrapped Andes Mint candy on the top of each cookie.

After it starts to melt, use the back of a spoon to gently move the Andes Mint around on each cookie until it is completely melted and cover the top of the cookies like frosting.

Allow to cool before serving or stacking on a plate. Or go ahead and eat immediately for a delicious rich warm cookie. Don’t forget the milk!

TRUST ME EVERYBODY LOVES THESE!!

I hope that you all do to!

Best wishes and Happy Holidays!!

I was totally unsure as to what to “Show off” or “Brag” about so I just thought that I would share my final look at our Summer flowers that I blogged about a couple of days ago. Gardening is a hobby that my husband and I share and we enjoy doing it together. We love to watch things bloom and grow and try each year to add some thing new.

Flowers have always been such a joy for me and spending time in the garden is truly a labor of love and at times a healing kind of therapy.

So please feel free to take a little walk in the Anderson Garden and enjoy some of natures beauties and our favorites!

These were used as centerpieces on the table for our 2009 Easter dinner. They were pretty easy to make, pretty cute to look at and extremely yummy to eat!

Thanks for taking a look at my blog today and joining in on the BLUE BLOG PARTY festivities. Thanks so much to all of you for leaving such nice and sweet comments. It’s always fun to get lots of comments!!

Ok, here is my next favorite BLUE thing.

This a a darling bear that my husband gave me when we were dating years and years ago. He got it in San Francisco. She is wearing one of my OOAK vintage hankie dresses. I guess I am still a little girl at heart because I still love dolls and bears.

Check back gals I may still have a couple more photos up my sleeve!

I am posting my favorite BLUE things today and am participating in the fun “BLUE BLOG PARTY”.

Here is my #2 choice.

One of my ALL TIME favorite things in my garden is the wonderful “FLOWER BED” that my husband made for me out of an old youth bed and some fencing. He is so amazing and can make just about anything! After he had it all finished, I put my touches on it and painted it.  Then he filled it with dirt and he and my 2 sons bought lovely flowers to plant inside just in time for Mothers Day last year. Needless to say it is one of my favorite things EVER!! Hope that you like taking a peek also. Maybe it will spark some ideas for you in your garden this year. Ya just never know….

Doesn’t that sound like a blast? We members of Etsy Cottage Style are sharing and showing our passion for all things “BLUE” today at this special BLUE BLOG PARTY!! I am going to do 3 or more blog posts today featuring some of the BLUE things that I love. So please check back though out the day to see whats next.

Ok here’s my first favorite BLUE item. My new spring quilted baby shoes. I even named them “TRUE BLUE PAISLEY”. They are bright, sweet and very BLUE! Look for them in my etsy shop.

Leave a comment and let me know what your favorite BLUE things are! We’d all love to know!
